COVID-19 & Health Safety Precautions
In an effort to provide an environment where everyone feels safe and comfortable learning and socializing, we are requesting attendees provide at check-in proof of full vaccination or test results from a negative COVID-19 viral test taken no more than 3 days prior to the program. We recognize this is an added step in the return to in-person, face-to-face meetings but hope you understand that we are doing our best to ensure the safety of our staff and the attendees. We're so happy to have you back.
Documentation is requested to be in the form of a CDC vaccination card or directly from the healthcare provider that performed the test or vaccination. Attendees can display test results or proof of vaccination on their smartphone or present a physical copy.
For the purposes of right of entry to a Horizon CME conference, a person is considered fully vaccinated:
- 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, or
- 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine
- This guidance applies to COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (i.e., Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson (J&J)/Janssen COVID-19 vaccines), and COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use by the World Health Organization (i.e., AstraZeneca/Oxford), as of May 10, 20211.
