COVID-19 & Health Safety Precautions

  • In an effort to provide an environment where everyone feels safe and comfortable learning and socializing, we are requesting attendees provide at check-in proof of full vaccination or test results from a negative COVID-19 viral test taken no more than 3 days prior to the program. We recognize this is an added step in the return to in-person, face-to-face meetings but hope you understand that we are doing our best to ensure the safety of our staff and the attendees. We're so happy to have you back.

  • Documentation is requested to be in the form of a CDC vaccination card or directly from the healthcare provider that performed the test or vaccination. Attendees can display test results or proof of vaccination on their smartphone or present a physical copy.

For the purposes of right of entry to a Horizon CME conference, a person is considered fully vaccinated:

    • 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, or
    • 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine

  • This guidance applies to COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (i.e., Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson (J&J)/Janssen COVID-19 vaccines), and COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use by the World Health Organization (i.e., AstraZeneca/Oxford), as of May 10, 20211.
